VP of Operations - Central Region

Kelly Patten brings more than 23 years of dental healthcare experience to her role as Vice President of Operations for ICON Dental Partners’ Central Region. Having started her career at the front desk, Kelly has held roles across nearly every level of dental operations, including Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, Office Manager, Regional Manager, Director of Operations, and Director of Integrations, as well as positions in human resources and recruiting. This hands-on experience gives her a comprehensive understanding of both the clinical and business sides of dentistry.

Throughout her career, Kelly has led practices and multi-site regions encompassing more than 61 locations across the United States. Her expertise includes multi-site operations, P&L management, strategic growth, practice integrations, operational efficiency, leadership development, talent management, and practice optimization. She is experienced in partnering with doctors, practice leaders, and executive teams to translate organizational strategy into practice-level results while maintaining a strong focus on patient experience and practice culture.

Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from King University. Her leadership philosophy centers on building strong partnerships with doctors, developing high-performing teams, and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and empowerment. She believes sustainable growth comes from aligning clinical excellence, exceptional patient care, engaged teams, operational discipline, and strong financial performance around a shared vision.
