Controller

Christine Danford serves as the Controller for ICON Dental Partners, bringing over 20 years of expertise in finance, accounting, and management. Her impressive background spans private and publicly held global corporations, as well as four years in the healthcare industry. She specializes in private equity, with extensive experience in restructuring through mergers, acquisitions, and ownership transitions.

Before joining ICON Dental Partners, Christine worked with a healthcare consulting group, leading finance and accounting initiatives for private equity-backed MSOs, independent physician practices, and other healthcare organizations. Her roles included interim controller positions, overseeing post-acquisition transitions, and advising on strategies to enhance finance department scalability, performance, and long-term growth.

Earlier in her career, Christine spent 13 years as the Controller for a rapidly expanding technology services company, where she adeptly managed eight ownership and structural changes. She began her professional journey at a private equity firm, overseeing financial operations for a $1 billion organization with locations in Texas, New York, and Shanghai.
Christine earned her BA from Connecticut College and completed Business Management & Accounting studies at the University of Phoenix. She has also been an active member of the Financial Executive Networking Group (FENG), a highly selective organization, for the past six years.
